Polina Zabelina is Operations Excellence Specialist at bp. Polina has over 15 years of experience in energy industry across engineering, projects and operations.
She started her career as a corrosion engineer with on Sakhalin Island where she was looking after corrosion management and production chemistry for onshore and offshore assets.
After about 10 years in corrosion she moved to operations: first production team leader in Egypt, and now she is part of the central Operations Excellence team in bp, supporting production assets and refineries.
Polina has not fully escaped corrosion world as she is currently a Chair of London Branch of Institute of Corrosion.
